Introduction to the Küresel Araştırmacı Bütünleyici Projeleri (KÜRE) Program

The Küresel Araştırmacı Bütünleyici Projeleri (KÜRE) program is designed to support high-impact scientific projects conducted by our university's academics in collaboration with international researchers within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2232-A/B International Leader and Young Researchers Program.

Application Conditions

• The project team must include an international researcher as the project leader, who will work under the auspices of our university within the TÜBİTAK 2232-A/B International Leader/Young Researchers program.
• The project leader must have previously participated in the TÜBİTAK 2232-A/B International Leader/Young Researchers program project team under our university's auspices.
• The relationship between the project and the 2232-A/B project must be explained in detail.
• The project must not solely involve device requests for research infrastructure. Equipment purchases that complement the research infrastructure can be supported, considering the studies to be conducted within the project.
• The formation of a project team that supports the participation of different international researchers is encouraged.
• The project team must include at least one work package belonging to a team consisting of undergraduate students under the supervision of a faculty member. For sustainability, it is encouraged that this team is a project team or a student club and has been supported within the framework of LÖKAP-A/T or TÜBİTAK 2209-A/B programs.
• A detailed impact analysis is expected to be made for the proposed project, aiming for high economic, environmental, and social impact.
• The project, including any extensions, will be supported for a maximum of 36 months.

Project Budget

• KÜRE-T: The budget for Basic Research Projects is 2,000,000 TL.
• KÜRE-İ: The budget for Advanced Research Projects is 4,000,000 TL.
• The budget for congress participation travel during the project period cannot exceed 5% of the project budget.

Project Output Conditions

• KÜRE-T: After the project's completion, it is expected that within two years, at least three research articles will be published in Q1 journals, including at least one in a journal ranked in the top 10% in its field, as indexed by Scopus.
• KÜRE-İ: After the project's completion, it is expected that within two years, at least six research articles will be published in Q1 journals, including at least one in a journal ranked in the top 10% in its field, as indexed by Scopus.
• Efforts to increase the widespread impact of the supported platform must be made and documented during the project period and for two years after its completion. This includes starting an active web page for the platform from the project's start date, making national or international news, and conducting social impact and awareness studies.
