Introduction to the Textile Development and Marketing Program
The Textile Development and Marketing Program is a unique and innovative program that aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the global textile and apparel industry. The program is a joint effort between Istanbul Technical University (ITU) and the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York, and it offers students the opportunity to earn a double diploma from both institutions.

Admission Requirements
To be eligible for the program, students must meet the following requirements:
- Score at least 150 points in the TYT exam
- Pass the "Professional Tendency" exam/interview conducted by the Evaluation Committee
- Submit a "Preference Reasoning Letter" explaining their reasons for choosing the program
- Meet the English language proficiency requirements (TOEFL score of at least 550 or IBT score of at least 80)
Program Structure
The program is a four-year undergraduate program, with the first two years spent at ITU and the last two years spent at FIT in New York. Students who do not meet the English language proficiency requirements may be required to attend a one-year intensive English language program at ITU before starting the program.
Tuition Fees
The tuition fees for the program are as follows:
- ITU tuition fee: 12,000 TL per year
- FIT tuition fee: approximately 20,000 USD per year
- Living expenses in New York: approximately 10,000 USD per year
