Interior Architecture Undergraduate Program

The Interior Architecture Undergraduate Program is a 100% English program offered at the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) campus. The program consists of 8 semesters, with a total of 127.50 credits and 239.50 ECTS.

Program Structure

The program is structured as follows:

• 1st Semester: Introduction to interior architecture, visual communication, mathematics, and basic design
• 2nd Semester: Structural mechanics, history and theory of interior architecture, project II, and visualization and perspective
• 3rd Semester: Building and construction, research paper writing, history and theory of interior architecture II, and interior architecture design fundamentals studio
• 4th Semester: Environmental control studio, interior architecture design studio I, history and theory of interior architecture III, and survey and representation techniques in interior architecture
• 5th Semester: Economics, interior architecture design studio II, introduction to research in design, space and furniture, and investigation of color and light in interior architecture
• 6th Semester: Professional practice, interior architecture design studio III, design principles of interior finishing systems, and Atatürk's principles and history of Turkish revolution I
• 7th Semester: Interior architecture design studio IV, paradigms and case studies in adaptive re-use, Turkish language I, and elective courses
• 8th Semester: Graduation project, communication design in interior architecture, Turkish language II, and elective courses
