Introduction to TÜ Birlikte Örenme Laboratuvar 2025

TÜ Birlikte Örenme Laboratuvar aims to promote innovative learning and teaching approaches, as well as the sharing and application of research outputs from graduate studies within the TÜ ecosystem. The laboratory seeks to foster a culture of lifelong learning, crowdsourcing, and collaborative knowledge production.

The program is designed as a one-day event, taking place on October 1, 2025, at the TÜ Bilgisayar ve Biliim Fakültesi. The event will feature two thematic sessions: "Eitimde Güncel Eilimler" (Current Trends in Education) and "Tezlerden Örenme stasyonlarna" (From Theses to Learning Stations).

Expected Outcomes

The program aims to achieve the following outcomes:

• Disseminate good practice examples of education and teaching within TÜ and its partners through international networks such as EELISA European University, SEFI, CESAER, and T.I.M.E. Association.
• Identify good practice examples of innovative pedagogies, approaches, activities, and tools in learning and teaching.

Program Structure

The program consists of two main sections:

Eitimde Güncel Eilimler (Current Trends in Education)

This section aims to showcase and discuss innovative learning and teaching approaches, activities, or tools within the TÜ ecosystem.

Tezlerden Örenme stasyonlarna (From Theses to Learning Stations)

This section focuses on converting graduate research outputs into innovative learning experiences for students, academics, and the broader TÜ community.

Good Practice Examples

Good practice examples refer to individual approaches, activities, methods, techniques, and tools that have been found to produce better results in terms of positively changing student attitudes and academic behavior.

Crowdsourcing and Collaborative Knowledge Production

Crowdsourcing involves the participation of students in collaborative work, sharing knowledge or opinions, to enhance collective intelligence and diverse perspectives. Collaborative knowledge production refers to a cooperative process where students and educators work together to design and implement learning experiences, valuing the input of all participants.

Lifelong Learning

Lifelong learning refers to the continuous and self-motivated pursuit of knowledge and skills for personal or professional development, characterized by a proactive approach, curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to growth throughout one's life.

Abstract Submission and Presentation

Authors of accepted abstracts are expected to present their good practice examples and discuss how these examples can be shared and applied within the TÜ ecosystem. The presentations will be followed by question-and-answer and discussion sessions.
