Brief Description
The Disability Federation of Ireland (DFI), the University of Limerick (UL), and Johnson & Johnson (J&J) through its jointly established organisation SOLA are now registering applicants for their "Innovation Management for Community and Voluntary Organisations" course.
Overview
SOLA: "The Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Quality in the Community and Voluntary Sector" is committed to building sustainable communities of practice and service provision with appropriate governance and sustainable quality systems within the changing social, economic and political context in Ireland. As part of this commitment SOLA is delivering the course in "Innovation Management for the Community and Voluntary Sector".
For Whom
This UL accredited module is aimed at those within the community & voluntary sector with a responsibility for governing, delivering service, coordinating activities, or with a role in the management of the organisation.
Organisation Activity
The programme will consist of a series of exercises that participants will have to undertake in their own organisation. These are designed to develop their awareness of the level and type of quality management activities currently in practice. Participants will review one quality management model and assess how it would be or is implemented in their organisation.
