M Ed in Educational Leadership and Management
The Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Management (M Ed ELM) is a part-time program that extends Mary Immaculate College's commitment to professional development in the education system. The program supports those interested in and/or involved with leadership and management in various educational contexts, helping them gain new skills and knowledge to excel.

Programme Content
The core modules studied in this program are:
- Leadership and Management Theories and Practices
- Systematic Approaches to Practitioner Research
- Education and the Law
- School Self-Evaluation and Whole School Planning: Leading and Managing Curriculum Change
- Organisational Psychology Applied to Educational Contexts
- Principles and Practice of Research in Education
Each student can also choose an elective from options such as:
- Inclusive Education Policy and Practice
- Open and Distributed E-Leadership and Innovation
Participants will also complete a dissertation.
Entry Requirements
Applicants will normally hold a minimum 2.2 Honours Bachelor degree or a major award at Level 9 or 10 on the National Framework of Qualifications. They should have a minimum of two years of relevant work experience in an education setting and be currently working in a relevant education setting. Other applicants with substantial and relevant prior experience and/or learning will also be considered.

To apply, complete the application form and pay the non-refundable 50 application fee. Include university transcripts and certificates, and if English is not your first language, provide an English translation of your transcript/qualification and your English Language Competency Certificate.
