Beginners' Chinese Course

This non-credit course is intended for learners with little or no exposure to Chinese. It covers the basics of the Chinese language with a focus on developing communication skills. The course is designed to be taken in three 10-week sessions, but learners can join for any session.


Course Structure

Learners will meet for 90 minutes weekly with a DU language instructor who will guide their studies and provide opportunities for engaging in conversation during weekly meetings.


Refund Policy

All refunds must be requested in writing. Refunds will be considered according to the following deadlines:


  • 100% refund 24 hours before the first class
  • 75% refund 24 hours before the second class
  • No refund after the second class
