Executive Certificate in Affordable Housing

The Executive Certificate in Affordable Housing is a non-degree, non-credit program offered by the University of Denver. Upon completion of the program, participants will receive an Executive Certificate in Affordable Housing.

Program Structure and Timeline

The program includes an in-person orientation weekend, synchronous online classes, and an in-person capstone project.

• In-Person Orientation Weekend:
  • Welcome Happy Hour (optional): Friday, September 19, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 PM
  • Day 1 Bootcamp: Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 7:30 AM-5:00 PM
  • Kick-Off Reception & Dinner: Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 5:30-8:30 PM
  • Day 2 Bootcamp: Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
• Synchronous Online Class Dates:
  • October 1, 8, 15, 22, & 29 (2025)
  • November 5, 12, & 19 (2025)
  • January 7, 14, 21, & 28 (2026)
  • February 4, 11, 18, & 25 (2026)
  • April 1, 8, 15, 22, & 29 (2026)
  • May 6, 13, & 20 (2026)
• In-Person Capstone Project:
  • Friday, June 5, 2026 (optional happy hour/evening reception)
  • Saturday, June 6, 2026 (Day 1 of Capstone Project)
  • Sunday, June 7, 2026 (Day 2 of Capstone Project)

Program Requirements

To complete the program, participants must:

• Participate in-person at both the Orientation (September 20-21, 2025) and the Capstone (June 6-7, 2026)
• Complete pre-work for each class (approximately 2 hours per week)
• Participate substantially (75% attendance) in each of the remaining online modules

Program Fee Payments

Participants can pay the program fee in full by September 1, 2025, or in installments due on September 1, 2025, November 1, 2025, and December 1, 2025. Payments can be made by check, credit card, or bank transfer.
