Program Overview
DevOps Foundations: DevSecOps
Course Description
Security is a major concern in the DevOps world. There is a constant push for companies to move more quickly at scale, but security teams often struggle to keep up with testing. This course introduces the concept of DevSecOps and explains how an organization can build out a DevSecOps program that helps teams integrate security into the application development pipeline. Students will learn about the role of APIs, containers, security as code, and automation, and how a continuous integration and delivery framework can help organizations run security tests as often as developers want. The instructor, Tim Chase, also introduces some free tools and resources to help students get started on their DevSecOps journey. ### Instructor Information - Instructor: Tim Chase ### Course Topics - APIs - Containers - Security as code - Automation - Continuous integration and delivery framework ### Related Classes - Working On Camera: Video Makeup Techniques - Building Agents with the Google Agent Developer Kit - Creating a Responsive Web Experience - GMUNK's 3D-Rendered Geometric Art Series: Start to Finish - Michelle Kaufmann's Platinum LEED Home Remodel: Start to Finish - Running a Design Business: Presentation Skills - Managing Your Time - Creativity and Learning: A Conversation with Lynda Barry - The Creative Spark: Iyeoka, Recording Artist and Poet - Monday Productivity Pointers - Writing: The Craft of Story - Creative Inspirations: Big Spaceship, Digital Creative Agency - The Power of PreViz at BMW Group DesignworksUSA - Enhancing Your Productivity - Creative Inspirations: Ed Emberley, Children's Book Illustrator - Creative Inspirations: Marian Bantjes, Graphic Artist - Creative Inspirations: Stefan G.
