• Creative Inspirations: Kit Hinrichs, Graphic Designer (taught by Kit Hinrichs) is one of the most accomplished and respected graphic designers and illustrators of the last fifty years. A student of design history and a collector of design artifacts, Kit has a deep understanding of the roots of design and a keen eye for the future of the industry. His work is known for its clarity, simplicity, and wit, and has been recognized with numerous national and international awards. Kit is a partner at Pentagram and has worked with a wide range of clients, from small startups to large corporations. He has also taught at several design schools and has written extensively on design and typography. In this class, Kit will share his insights on the importance of design history, the role of typography in design, and the need for simplicity and clarity in communication. He will also discuss his approach to design, which emphasizes the importance of understanding the client's needs and goals, as well as the need to stay current with the latest design trends and technologies.
