Connecting Your Learning to Your Goals and Future Path

The Design Careers & Lives of Purpose module encourages students to reflect on where they want to go, what kind of impact they hope to make, and how their PSC program can help them get there. This module is designed to help students explore career possibilities, understand the tools and services available to them, and begin shaping a professional identity that aligns with who they are becoming.

Module Objectives

At the end of this module, students will be able to:

• Identify tools and resources that support professional development and career exploration.
• Begin building an ePortfolio that reflects skills, experiences, and personal goals.
• Strengthen networking and community-building practices to support purpose-driven career pathways.

Program Description

The module provides space for students to reflect on their goals and take actionable steps toward them. Students will also take their first steps in building their ePortfolio, a powerful tool for documenting growth, integrating what they learn across courses, and showcasing skills to employers. Additionally, students will explore ways to build community and expand their network, essential practices that support long-term purpose, opportunity, and a sense of belonging.
