Teacher Education Program (TEP)

The Teacher Education Program (TEP) at the University of Denver offers a comprehensive range of courses designed to prepare students for a career in teaching. • TEP 4520: Art Methods K-12: This course explores the theory and practice of teaching art at the K-12 level, including the development of lesson plans and the use of various art methods.
• TEP 4590: Elementary Literacy Instruction I: This course focuses on the development of reading and writing skills in elementary school students, including the use of research-based instructional practices.
• TEP 4591: Elementary Literacy Instruction II: This course continues the development of literacy skills in elementary school students, with a focus on language, phonics, and writing.
