The dual degree program combines the Master of Social Work (MSW) and the Master of Public Health (MPH), offering a comprehensive education in both fields.

Program Requirements

• The MSW program requires 66 quarter credits for completion at the University of Denver, with a credit reduction of 15 credits from the original 81 required for the MSW.
• The MSW-Advanced Standing program requires 39 quarter credits for completion at the University of Denver, with a credit reduction of 15 credits from the original 54 required for the MSW-Advanced Standing.
• The MPH program, completed at the University of Colorado Anschutz, requires 33 semester credits, with a credit reduction of 9 credits from the original 42 required for the MPH.

Admission Requirements

• A student must apply for the MSW and MPH separately and be accepted into each program.
• Verification of enrollment in the MPH degree program at the University of Colorado Anschutz is required to qualify for the dual degree.

Degree Requirements

• The minimum number of credits required with the dual degree is 66 quarter credits for the MSW or 39 quarter credits for the MSW-Advanced Standing, completed at the University of Denver, and 33 semester credits completed at the Colorado School of Public Health at the University of Colorado Anschutz.
