Introduction to Psychology II
Course Overview
This course is a general survey of perspectives and methods in selected areas of psychology, including personality, social behaviour, human development, stress and coping, and psychological disorders. Students will participate in various learning and research activities, with some course credit earned through participation.

What You Will Learn
This course is designed to help students:
- Understand various key concepts, theories, and research in psychology
- Explore intelligence and psychological testing
- Learn about psychology topics, including motivation and emotion, human development, personality, social behaviour, stress and coping, and psychological disorders and treatments
Course Structure
- Students have six months from the registration date to complete the course
- All course exams and/or assignments must be completed by the designated end date
Assignments and Examinations
- 8 x quizzes (invigilated, 40% total)
- Quizzes are a crucial part of the course assessment
- 1 x final exam (invigilated, 60%)
- The final exam is a comprehensive assessment of the course material
- Bonus marks - optional (5%)
- Optional bonus mark assignments allow students to explore their interests in psychology
Final Exam Details
- The Final Exam will be invigilated on an approved date using Respondus e-proctoring software (LockDown Browser and Monitor)
- A webcam is required for the final exam
Fees and Payments
- There is a $150 non-refundable
on-transferable online fee per course in addition to applicable tuition and fees - This fee is non-refundable once the add/drop date has passed within the term the course is registered in
- The fee will be automatically added and included in term tuition fees
