Economics and Finance Program
The Economics and Finance program is offered by the Faculty of Management at the University of New Brunswick's Fredericton campus. This program leads to a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
Program Description
Students in this program gain an understanding of economic and financial institutions and principles, insight into modern economic issues and problems, the ability to analyze economic events and their impact on financial markets, and a framework on which to base economic and financial decisions. The program offers excellent preparation for careers in financial economics and research, as well as in the areas of business management, finance, and banking.
Co-operative Education Program
The program includes a co-operative (Co-op) education component, consisting of a minimum of three four-month work terms. This Co-op program is accredited by the Canadian Association for Co-operative Education.
Bachelor of Business Administration
The Economics and Finance program is available as an honours option as part of a four-year Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

Graduates of this program acquire key business skills necessary to meet the challenges of the fast-paced world of business. Focusing studies in economics and finance allows students to gain subject-specific skills, including:
