The Bachelor of Recreation and Sport Studies program prepares students for a meaningful career in creating, managing, and executing programs that contribute to healthy communities and healthy lives. Since 1957, UNB's Faculty of Kinesiology has been growing a reputation as a national leader in kinesiology, recreation, and sport and wellness.
Hands-on Learning
The program offers hands-on learning experiences, including:
- Practicums: Students learn directly from a health care worker, assist with coaching a team, or volunteer with a community agency.
- Professional Internships: Unpaid, four-month, full-time placements with an organization best suited to the student's career goals, allowing them to become part of a professional team and learn and contribute as they go.
