uBEATS Overview

uBEATS (UNO & UNMC Building Excellence in Academics Through STEM) is a series of online modules designed for grades 6-12.

• The modules cover topics such as cancer, genetics, microbiology, pathology, pharmacology, public health, behavioral health, medical terminology, academic success, and health care careers.
• uBEATS is designed to be a companion resource to the core curriculum, providing additional information to students.

Why uBEATS Was Created

uBEATS was created by education and STEM experts at the University of Nebraska Omaha and the University of Nebraska Medical Center to provide students with advanced learning opportunities and to ignite their confidence to pursue higher education and careers in STEM fields.
