The Gut Check 2026 seminar is designed to provide healthcare professionals with a focused update on screening, diagnosis, and management of common gastrointestinal conditions. The seminar will cover topics such as metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease, hepatitis, and colorectal cancer screening.

The objectives of the Gut Check 2026 seminar are to:


  • Apply current evidence-based guidelines to common GI conditions in primary care
  • Identify alarm features requiring timely gastroenterology referral
  • Improve the appropriate utilization of diagnostic testing and endoscopy

Accreditation and CE Credits

The University of Nebraska Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. The Gut Check 2026 seminar is designated for a maximum of 3.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
