Program Overview


KU School of Medicine-Wichita OB-GYN Residency Program

The University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita OB-GYN Residency Program recruits six PGY-1 positions per academic year.

Application Requirements

  • ResidencyCAS application and CV
  • Personal statement
  • USMLE Step I or COMLEX Level 1 results
  • USMLE Step 2 Clinical Knowledge or COMLEX Level 2 results
  • Medical school transcripts
  • Three letters of recommendation, one of which must be from a member of your medical school's obstetrics and gynecology department
  • SLOE - Can replace one of the above letters of recommendation
  • MSPE Letter

Application Review and Interview Process

Applicants are reviewed based on academic record, professional background, personal qualities, recommendations, and interviews. The rank list is reviewed in a meeting that includes faculty and residents prior to its submission to the NRMP.
