What do the students say?

  • Berglind Hálfdánsdóttir, former doctoral student:
    • The main goal of my doctoral research in midwifery was to create new knowledge about childbearing in Iceland, and that is why studying at the University of Iceland's Nursing Faculty seemed like an obvious first choice. In this way, I had the opportunity to collaborate with the country's leading academics in the field of midwifery and nursing, as well as collaborating with foreign academics in my research field. During the PhD program, I was given the freedom and flexibility to follow what I was passionate about, with good support and close collaboration with my supervisors.
