- To transfer between years, a student must have completed all exams from the previous year
- A student has the right to complete studies in Nursing to a BS degree in 4 years and in Nursing to an MS degree in 3 years
Evaluation of Individual Courses
The University of Iceland has rules for assessment of individual courses, including:
- A student can apply to have a course or part of a course evaluated if all the following conditions are met
- That the course to be evaluated is equally comprehensive in terms of units and content covers at least 80% of the two subjects it is supposed to replace
- That there is usually no more time than four years since the study to be assessed was completed
- That the grade for the program to be evaluated is not lower than 6.5
