Financial economics
Financial economics is a master's program that emphasizes the interaction between financial studies and economics on a practical basis. The program has 120 credits and is set up as a full-time program for two years.
MS 120 credits
In the master's program in financial economics, emphasis is placed on the interaction between financial studies and economics on a profitable basis. It is recommended that students have a good foundation in mathematics and statistics and can adopt quantitative methods in finance as well as technical economic analysis.
Apply for study
The program is especially intended for students who have a strong foundation in mathematics and statistics from their BS/BA studies. Knowledge of economics is not a prerequisite for admission. However, students who have not completed at least two courses in general economics (economics) and two courses in discrete economics (operational economics) in their previous studies are required to take a preparatory course in economics in the first semester in the fall.
Study requirements
Complete ₫arf 120 ECTS credits. 90 credits in courses and an MS thesis of 30 credits. To graduate from the Faculty of Economics, a student must achieve an average grade of 6.0.
