About Program

Program Overview

Introduction to the Global Science Citizen Program

The Global Science Citizen Program (GSC) provides an opportunity for students in the Faculty of Science to gain real-world experience, become aware of the wider world, respect and value diversity, and develop an understanding of how the world works. Student and research exchange programs will be accepting students from partner universities to experience living abroad while participating in course or research-based exchanges.

Outbound Exchange

The program allows students from the Faculty of Science to study abroad for one semester or a full academic year, or on a research-based exchange and return to Toronto Metropolitan University to complete their degree. They continue to be registered at Toronto Metropolitan University while on exchange, and tuition fees remain unchanged. In most cases, classes are conducted in English and are taken at a normal course load.
