Interior Design - BFA

Requirements

This is a Grades-Plus program. Admission decisions for Grades-Plus programs are based on academic performance plus non-academic criteria such as interviews, auditions, essays, and portfolios.


Academic Requirements for Full-Time, 4-Year Program

To be considered for admission, Ontario high school students must meet the following requirements:


  • Completion of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
  • Completion of 6 Grade 12 U or M courses with a minimum overall average of 70%
  • Completion of the following required courses:
    • Grade 12 U English/anglais (ENG4U/EAE4U preferred) (minimum grade of 70%)
    • Grade 11 U or M or Grade 12 U mathematics (one of: MCF3M, MCR3U, MHF4U, MCV4U, MDM4U) (minimum grade of 60%)

Non-Academic Requirements

Creative Project: Interior Images and Text

Create a new collection of 3-5 photographs of interior spaces. In 100-150 words, explain why these spaces are interesting. The evaluators are looking for:


  • Originality — your unique perspective or approach
  • Composition — how you arrange the elements within the frame
  • Creativity/passion — evidence of emotive connection or personal expression

Assessment Fee

The non-academic requirements assessment fee is $50 CAD and must be paid in order for your submission to be reviewed.
