Ted Rogers Sales Leadership Program
Program Overview
Sales Ecosystem at Toronto Metropolitan University
Sales education at Toronto Met aims to advance the sales skills of students at various levels throughout their university experience. The sales ecosystem includes the following:
Ted Rogers Sales Leadership Program
The Ted Rogers Sales Leadership Program is a two-year program that brings together dedicated students from all schools and departments at the Ted Rogers School. It provides specialized experiential learning activities for emerging sales leaders, aimed at developing professional sales skills to create candidates for dynamic job opportunities. Upon graduation from the program with completed requirements, students will have highly developed sales skills and the confidence to apply those skills towards a successful career in sales leadership.
Ted Rogers Undergraduate Sales Team (TRUST)
The Ted Rogers Undergraduate Sales Team is a competitive team of top-performing sales students hand-picked to represent Toronto Met in international competitions. This team comprises competitors and developmental members who train their sales skills like varsity athletes. The team is sent to various competitions to showcase skills learned via the program in case-based simulated sales meeting competitions, where they are graded, ranked, and awarded based on niche criteria.
Student Sales Club - Ted Rogers Sales Club (TRSC)
The Ted Rogers Sales Club is a student-run organization aimed at educating, connecting, and innovating sales. TRSC organizes various workshops and networking events throughout the year to connect students with industry professionals, as well as fellow students who share the same passion for sales. It works to build interest and develop beginner sales skills for first- and second-year students, acting as a sales pipeline to funnel talented sales students who have an interest in honing their sales skills and pursuing a career in sales into the Ted Rogers Sales Leadership Program.
