National Labour Arbitration Competition
The National Labour Arbitration Competition is an annual event that poses a distinctive advocacy challenge to Canadian law students. The competition was created in 1999 by Mathews, Dinsdale & Clark to cultivate expertise in labor law among law students.

Participation in this lawyering skills competition is recognized through JUR 345 Directed Studies.
Prerequisite Courses
No prerequisite courses are required for participation.
Tryout Process
Oralists qualify through applications in the fall.
Program Overview
The National Labour Arbitration Competition provides law students with an opportunity to engage in simulated grievance arbitration hearings before tri-partite panels. Teams from law schools across Canada participate in the competition, which is hosted by Mathews, Dinsdale & Clark.
