Master of Specialization in Osteopathy

The Master of Specialization in Osteopathy is a one-year program that aims to provide students with a high-level education in osteopathy, taking into account the responsibilities that future graduates will assume in their practice. A major objective is to train osteopaths in the management of algias of the locomotor apparatus and in the diagnostic exclusion of pathologies that do not fall within their scope.

Conditions of Access

Common Conditions for Masters of Specialization

  • The conditions of access to the selected Master of Specialization comply with the provisions of articles 111, 112, and 73 of the decree of November 7, 2013.

Full Right of Access

  • Holders of a Master's degree in Motor Sciences, general orientation, with a specialization in Osteopathy, obtained from a university in the French Community of Belgium, have full right of access.

Equivalent Diploma

  • Access is also granted to holders of a foreign academic degree recognized as equivalent to a second-cycle academic degree, under the conditions specified by the decree of November 7, 2013.

Access by File Submitted to the Jury

  • For candidates who do not meet the full right of access conditions, access can be granted by submitting a file to the jury, which assesses the candidate's academic background and professional experience.
  • The jury may require additional education or conditions for access.

Valorization of Acquired Experience

  • In accordance with article 119 of the decree of November 7, 2013, juries can valorize knowledge and skills acquired through professional and/or personal experiences, granting access to the Master's program under certain conditions.

The program includes:


  • Unit of Pediatrics: 5 credits, first quadrimester.
  • Written Dissertation: 15 credits, academic year.
  • Osteopathic Clinic and Specific Questions to the Patient-Therapist Relationship: 10 credits, 1st and 2nd quadrimesters.
  • Clinical Stages (Ortho-Traumatology, Rheumatology, Sports) including Interprofessional Seminars: 10 credits, 1st and 2nd quadrimesters.
  • Professional Integration including the Approach to Patient Nutrition: 15 credits, 1st and 2nd quadrimesters.
  • Pharmacology, Doping, and Elements of Algology: 5 credits, second quadrimester.
