Learning Outcomes

Upon completing the course, students will be able to:


  • become familiar with the preoperative preparation of a patient
  • evaluate symptoms and develop critical thinking concerning nursing diagnostics, as well as the health status of patients during the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care
  • understand the implications of surgery and provide personalized postoperative care, prevent postoperative complications
  • develop skills for accurate diagnosis and treatment of postoperative complications
