Master's Program Introduction

The Software Engineering professional master's degree program is a master's professional degree program category approved by the State Council Academic Degree Committee on January 13, 2021. Prior to the adjustment, it was the "Software Engineering" professional master's degree program approved by the State Council Academic Degree Committee in 2003, and the "Electronic Information (Software Engineering Field)" professional master's degree program approved by the State Council Academic Degree Committee in May 2019. The program has a duration of 3 years and recruits full-time master's students and international students. The goal is to cultivate applied, compound, high-level international software professionals with solid foundation, comprehensive quality, strong engineering practice ability, and certain innovative ability.


The Software Engineering professional master's degree program follows the construction principle of combining basic research with industry application and serving local economic construction and promoting national emerging industry development. It has gradually formed multiple professional research directions, including software engineering technology, artificial intelligence and its application, computer network and information security.
