Electives
Students must collect a total of 22.5 ECTS credits in elective courses. These can be master's courses in the Department of Economics, the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, or courses from the Department of Computer and Information Science, as listed in the course catalogue. The Standing Examination Committee can approve and announce other subjects.
Seminars
Students will complete two seminars, each worth 6 ECTS credits, offered by either the Department of Mathematics and Statistics or the Department of Economics.
Plans of Study, Module Guide, and Examination Regulations
The programme provides a module guide, examination regulations, and plans of study to help students navigate the course structure and requirements.
New Examination Regulations
From the winter term 2023/24 onwards, new examination regulations will come into effect. Students starting the MSc Mathematical Finance from the summer semester 2023 onwards will study under the new plan of study. Students already enrolled in the programme will have the option to switch to the new plan of study. It is essential for students to inform themselves about the valid regulations for their study period.
