Motoric Neurorehabilitation Bachelor of Science
The Motoric Neurorehabilitation Bachelor's programme is an extra-occupational, further educational programme that requires completed vocational training as a physiotherapist or ergotherapist. This programme acquaints students with the whole spectrum of modern motoric neurorehabilitation, providing a basic understanding of neurological disease patterns and the societal and institutional framework conditions of rehabilitation in the health system.
Special Features
- The programme combines compact attendance phases for several days at weekends and supplementary self-study, allowing students to continue working.

Study Content
The bachelor's programme has a modular structure, comprising 15 modules in all fields relevant to motoric neurorehabilitation. The study content includes:
- Basic scientific knowledge of motoric-neurological rehabilitation
- Framework conditions of medical care
- Scientific work methods
- Current status of research
- Treatment concepts in neurorehabilitation
- Therapeutic interventions in motoric neurorehabilitation
- Observation sessions in related areas of medical care
Study Structure
- Start of study: Winter semester
- Standard period of study: 6 semesters
- The programme concludes with a bachelor's thesis.

Study Requirements
Admission Requirements
- Professional qualification in physiotherapy or ergotherapy
- At least one year of professional experience
- General or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification or aptitude test
Fees
- Semester fee: 1,750 euros per semester (in addition to other required fees)
- Total amount due for the standard study period of six semesters: 10,500 euros
Required Language Skills
- No foreign language skills are required.
- German language skills: International applicants need documentation of their German language skills (level DSH-2 or TestDaF 4).
Teaching and Examination Language
- The language usually used in class is German.
