Introduction to the Program

The 3j-BSc program in Psychology is a 3-year Bachelor of Science degree offered by the University of Konstanz. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of psychology, including its theories, methods, and applications.

Program Structure

The program consists of several modules, each with its own set of seminars and lectures. The modules are designed to provide students with a broad understanding of psychology, as well as specialized knowledge in specific areas.

Modules and Seminars

The following modules and seminars are offered in the 4th semester of the 3j-BSc program:

• Modul 14: Psychologie der Gesundheit: Anwendung
  • Vertiefungsseminar Psychologie der Gesundheit (multiple events)
• Modul 11: Störungslehre
  • Vertiefungsseminar Störungslehre (multiple events)
• Modul 12: Allgemeine Verfahrenslehre
  • Vertiefungsseminar Verfahrenslehre (single event)
• Modul 20: Ergänzungsmodul Nachbarfach or Modul 21: Ergänzungsmodul Psychotherapie Schlüsselqualifikation
  • SQ from the Department of Psychology or other SQ courses in the course catalog (see menu point 6)

Important Notes

• The regular seminar place allocation does not follow the first-come-first-served principle. However, the remaining places are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
• The status "in Bearbeitung" (in processing) may appear in ZEuS due to technical reasons. This does not affect the student's previous admission.
• Students can apply for preferred seminar admission due to personal circumstances, such as disabilities, childcare responsibilities, or participation in an exchange program.

Priorities

• "Bevorzugt" (Preferred): The student's first choice of seminar.
• "1. Alternative" (1st Alternative): The student's second choice of seminar, in case the first choice is not available.
• "2. Alternative" (2nd Alternative): The student's third choice of seminar, in case the first two choices are not available.

Belegungsverfahren (Registration Procedure)

1. Vorlesungsverzeichnis aufrufen (Open the course catalog): Navigate to the course catalog in ZEuS and select the Bachelor Psychology HF PO 2021 (3-year) program.
2. Seminarbelegung (Seminar registration): Register for the desired seminars in the respective modules.
3. Prioritäten auswählen (Choose priorities): Select the preferred seminars and alternatives.
4. Belegungsverfahren beenden (Complete the registration procedure): Confirm the seminar registration.

Belegung: Schlüsselqualifikation (Registration: Key Qualifications)

• SQ-Kurse vom FB Psychologie (SQ courses from the Department of Psychology): Register for the desired SQ courses in the course catalog.
• Weitere SQ-Kurse (Additional SQ courses): Register for other SQ courses offered by the university.

ZEuS Menüpunkt: "Mein Studium" "Belegungen" (ZEuS Menu: "My Studies" "Registrations")

• Anmeldungen bearbeiten (Edit registrations): View and edit seminar registrations.
• Zulassungen von Veranstaltung und Prüfung einsehen (View admissions to events and exams): Check the status of seminar and exam registrations.

Prüfungsanmeldung überprüfen (Check Exam Registration)

• The seminar registration is automatically linked to the exam registration.
• Students should check their exam registrations in ZEuS after the withdrawal deadline.

Aufnahme in ILIAS (Admission to ILIAS)

• Students are automatically added to the respective ILIAS groups for the registered seminars.

Seminarabmeldung (Seminar Withdrawal)

• Students can withdraw from a seminar within the withdrawal deadline.
• Failure to withdraw from a seminar may result in a "Nicht bestanden" (Failed) grade.
