Program Overview

The Master of Education in Higher Education Teaching and Learning (MEd HE TL) is a 192 credit master's level program aimed at enhancing the scholarship in teaching and learning in higher education.

Admission Requirements

Entry into the Master's degree requires:

• Bachelor of Education Honours or an appropriate Honours degree or the status thereof
• A record of academic work or academic and professional work of an acceptable standard Ideally, applicants will have been working in the higher education field for at least two years.

Elective Modules

• Pedagogies in higher education
• Curriculum development & evaluation in higher education
• Student development & learning: Theories & practices
• Module from other programme related to education Students are required to choose 2 elective modules from the list above as part of the MEd HE TL program.
