Water Management Program

The Water Management program is a series of online short courses that cover today's major water issues and provide the skills and expertise relevant to deliver innovative water management solutions. These solutions aim to increase water supply resilience and environmental quality from a variety of backgrounds and career perspectives.

Program Structure

All courses are comprised of four weekly 3-hour live online sessions throughout the month of May, which facilitate their integration with work commitments. The sessions combine lectures with a range of individual and participative activities.

Course Details

The courses are delivered by Cranfield academics who are world-leading experts in diverse fields related to water management. The specific courses and their schedules are as follows:

• Surface and Groundwater Hydrology: 9am-12pm on Tuesdays (5 May, 12 May, 19 May, 26 May)
• Introduction to Hydrological Modelling: 1pm-4pm on Wednesdays (6 May, 13 May, 20 May, 27 May)
• Water Quality - Standards and Regulation: schedule not specified

Costs and Accreditation

• One course: £500
• Two courses: £450 per course
• Three+ courses: £350 per course The program is accredited for CPD by the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management.
