Gamification, game-based learning and serious games: teaching and continuous training
Program Overview
Máster Universitario en Ludificación, Aprendizaje Basado en Juegos y Juegos Serios: Docencia y Formación Continua
Introduction
The application of games, their resources, and mechanics is a powerful tool with multiple applications. It has been used in the development of military strategies, marketing, and sales. Recently, it has gained significant relevance in educational settings, both in formal and non-formal education, for children and adults. In a changing world where permanent training is a necessity, it is also necessary to complement traditional methodologies with others that have proven effectiveness in motivating the recipients of training activities, and few are more effective than gamified methodologies.
