Biology Degree
The Biology degree is a 4-year program with 240 credits, offering a solid foundation in biological sciences.
Objectives
The program aims to train professionals with a solid scientific, technical, and ethical foundation, capable of understanding, analyzing, and acting on biological processes at all levels of organization.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion, students will have acquired knowledge, skills, and competencies in areas such as:
- Biological diversity and functioning of living beings
- Scientific method applied to biological problems
- Physicochemical, biological, hygienic-sanitary, and environmental analysis and diagnosis
- Genetics and genomics
- Developmental biology and cell culture
- Ecology and conservation
- Environmental assessment and bioindicators
- Management of physical, chemical, and biological agents

Minimum Stay Requirements
Students must complete the program within a maximum of 8 years for full-time students and 10 years for part-time students.
Minimum Number of ECTS Credits
Full-time students must enroll in a minimum of 48 ECTS credits and a maximum of 78 ECTS credits per academic year. Part-time students must enroll in a minimum of 24 ECTS credits and a maximum of 47 ECTS credits per academic year.
Access and Registration
Access to the program requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and passing the entrance exam. Registration is done online, and students can check the deadlines and requirements on the university's website.
Training Itinerary
