With a deep understanding of current and emerging challenges in the insurance sector, they are prepared to lead projects, make strategic decisions, and contribute to the sector's sustainable development.

Access Requirements

This course is aimed at students who have a previous university degree. Students enrolled in a Bachelor's or Double Degree who have a maximum of 30 ECTS credits of an official university degree in Spain whose profile matches the functions legally provided for in the corresponding field will be able to access conditionally. In this case, no type of certification will be obtained until it is proven that one is in possession of the official university degree required for access to postgraduate education.

Likewise, graduates in accordance with educational systems outside the European Higher Education Area will be able to access without the need for homologation of their degrees, after verification by the University that they accredit a level of training equivalent to the corresponding official Spanish university degrees and that authorize in the country issuing the title for access to postgraduate education. Access through this route will not imply, in any case, the homologation of the previous title of which the interested party is in possession, nor its recognition for other purposes than that of studying the Master's degree.

Exceptionally, they will also be able to access these professional studies without a previous official university degree that certifies work experience in this field. In this case, they will only be eligible for a diploma or a university extension certificate with the same name and number of credits as this Title, in accordance with the equivalence table included in Annex I of the Own Teaching Regulations of the Rey Juan Carlos University.

Selection Criteria

In the event that the number of applications exceeds the number of places offered, a selection will be made based on the following criteria in each quota (ordinary and disability or victims of terrorism or gender violence):

  • Professional experience: (40%)
  • Average grade of the academic record for access: (40%)
  • English language proficiency: (20%)

The weighting of English proficiency as a foreign language (20%) will be based on the documentary evidence provided by the applicant. Only English proficiency equivalent to or higher than level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages will be considered.

Professional experience (40%) will only be considered when a minimum of two years' experience in an insurance and social security sector entity or specialized consulting or auditing firm, or one year in a financial institution, is accredited.

For foreign students from countries where Spanish is spoken, documentary evidence of Spanish proficiency is required, with a level equivalent to or higher than B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

The number of available places is 40, with a minimum of 23 students required for the course to start.
