Program Overview The Master in European Sports Law is designed to train professionals who can cover a profile of experts in all areas of sports legislation. The program aims to provide students with specialized knowledge in sports law, enabling them to advise athletes, sports associations, federations, leagues, and regional and national public entities.

Objectives The objective of the program is to train professionals who can work in public or private sports institutions, companies involved in the sector, or any type of office or cabinet dedicated to advising entities and athletes.

Program Structure The program consists of eight modules:

  • Module 1: Sports Policy of the European Union (18 hours)
  • Module 2: Sports Organization (38 hours)
  • Module 3: Economic-Financial Management in Sports (72 hours)
  • Module 4: Sports Taxation (52 hours)
  • Module 5: Substantive Aspects of the Sports Relationship (112 hours)
  • Module 6: Legal Regime of Sports Facilities (36 hours)
  • Module 7: Sports Journalism (36 hours)
  • Module 8: Protection of Health and Equality (36 hours)

Recipients The program is designed for students with degrees in Law, Business Administration and Management, Economics, Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, Marketing, as well as sports professionals seeking specialization.

Selection Criteria The selection criteria include experience, academic record, motivation letter, and interview. A minimum attendance of 80% is required.

Academic Management and Faculty The program director is Mr. Francisco Javier Arroyo Romero, and the vice principal is Mr. Vicente de Pablo Ubierna. The academic council consists of renowned experts in sports law.
