Master's Degree in Strategic Business Planning, Analysis and Decision Making
The Master's Degree in Strategic Business Planning, Analysis and Decision Making is a 60 ECTS credit program designed to provide professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage and plan businesses in a context of change. The program is offered online and has a duration of one academic year.
Basic Information
The program aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to:
- Ensure that the management of an organization and its results are oriented according to the strategic lines defined by the company.
- Collect information on the current state of the organization, in its economic, financial, and operational aspects.
- Align organizational behaviors with strategic goals, individual behaviors with organizational behaviors, and organizational behaviors with company goals.
- Identify and analyze sensitive control areas and determine the control points within the areas.
- Improve the organization's ability to adapt to changes in the environment.
- Change the behavior of employees through their participatory involvement in the development and growth of the organization.
- Establish a focus on the strengths of the organization and help deal with the problems of changes in the external environment.
- Find one or more competitive advantages of the organization and formulate and implement strategies to create or preserve these advantages.
Admission and Enrollment
The requirements for access to the proposed title are according to article 18 of Royal Decree 822/2021, of September 28. The recommended requirements include:
- Possession of an official Spanish Graduate or Graduate university degree or equivalent.
- General graduates and graduates (ADE, CAF, economics, law, etc.) who require training more oriented to the financial and stock market area. The selection of applicants is based on:
- Academic record (60%).
- Affinity of the degree by which it is accessed with the studies of the University Master (20%).
- Professional experience in economic and business matters (10%).
- Level of motivation demonstrated in writing (10%).
Training Itinerary
The training itinerary includes the following subjects:
- Business strategy and direction general (6 ECTS, face-to-face).
- Economic analysis for decision making (6 ECTS, face-to-face).
- The modern direction of Global marketing in companies (6 ECTS, face-to-face).
- Management skills in the company (6 ECTS, face-to-face).
- Optimization of resources, management, and control of production and the purchasing function (6 ECTS, face-to-face).
- Financial management (6 ECTS, face-to-face).
- Commercial Management (6 ECTS, face-to-face).
- Balanced Scorecard (6 ECTS, face-to-face).
- The shopping function (6 ECTS, face-to-face).
- External Internships (6 ECTS).
- Master's thesis (6 ECTS).

External Internships
The External Practices subject is a curricular subject that aims to promote comprehensive training of the student through the practical application of the knowledge acquired during the Master's degree.

Objectives
The academic training of professionals in management and business management, managers who are capable of managing and planning in a context of change and who understand the importance of management and planning of the different activities, areas, and departments of the company, in relation to the performance and productivity of organizations.
