Program Overview


Program Overview

The Expert in Regulations of Biocides, Phytosanitary, Cosmetics, and Detergents program is designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge of the main regulations governing these industries. The program aims to train students for employability in sectors such as industry, administrations, and regulatory agencies, as well as laboratories and educational institutions related to human health and environmental toxicology.


Objectives

The primary objective of the program is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and manage the different regulations related to biocides, phytosanitary products, cosmetics, and detergents. Specifically, the program aims to:


  • Know the main regulations for biocides, phytosanitary products, cosmetics, and detergents.
  • Understand the topic of biopesticides.

Competences

The program is designed to develop both general and specific skills in students. General skills include knowledge and management of different regulations, while specific skills focus on the management of regulations on biocides, phytosanitary products, cosmetics, and detergents.

  • Topic 1: Regulation of Biocides
  • Topic 2: Cosmetics Regulations
  • Topic 3: Phytosanitary Regulations
  • Topic 4: Regulation of Detergents
  • Practical Case via TEAMS (Phytosanitary)
  • Final exam

Recipients

The program is targeted at graduate or graduate students from diverse fields of knowledge, such as biology, environmental sciences, medicine, pharmacy, chemistry, environmental engineering, geology, food science and technology, veterinary science, and those degrees in which this discipline has a place. Exceptionally, students who are short of 30 credits to finish their degree and/or only short of the TFG may be accepted, subject to the director's approval. The final title of the course will only be delivered when they have obtained the degree.
