The Executive Master of Permanent Training in Creative Economy is a 60 ECTS program designed for managers and professionals in the culture, urban and territorial development, tourism, and innovation sectors. The program aims to provide students with a deep understanding of the creative economy, its concepts, and its application in urban and territorial transformation.
Presentation
The creative economy is a new scenario that requires a new model of leadership, one that understands creativity and innovation as the main strategic resources of companies, cities, and territories. The program focuses on the ""E" of the economy, emphasizing the importance of entrepreneurship, emotional intelligence, and social responsibility.
Objectives
The program has six main objectives:
- Axis Entrepreneur and Innovator: Develop the student's entrepreneurial and innovative capacity to launch their business idea in the cultural, creative, or technological sector.
- Axis - Institutional: Understand the importance of the network model as an alternative to the institutional model in crisis.
- Axis - Cultural and Creative: Address culture, creativity, and innovation as transversal axes to stimulate and generate value for the entire economy.
- Axis Social: Understand culture as the fourth pillar of sustainable development and the central axis on which economic, social, and environmental development is based.
- Axis Innovation: Understand the multidimensional nature of innovation, including cultural and artistic innovation, social and territorial innovation, and economic and technological innovation.
- Axis Sustainable Urban and Territorial: Learn to develop strategic plans for the transformation of cities and territories into creative ones.
Competences
The program aims to provide students with the following competences:
- Develop tools to direct and manage an institution or company.
- Obtain a strategic vision in decision-making.
- Ability to adapt to the environment or flexibility.
- Reflexive vision and analysis of the current situation and the environment.
- Understand the urban world and the rural world as a system and the importance of culture, creativity, and innovation for their transformation and reinvention.
Programme
The program consists of two blocks:
- Block 1: Direction and Management of Cultural and Creative Industries (30 ECTS)
- Block 3: Creative Cities and Cultural Tourism. Sustainable Urban Transformation (30 ECTS)
Recipients
The program is designed for university graduates and postgraduates in social and legal sciences, arts and humanities, architecture, and engineering.

- Degree required for admission: University graduates and postgraduates.
- Recommended knowledge areas: Social and legal sciences, arts and humanities, architecture, and engineering.
Selection Criteria
In the event that the number of applications exceeds the number of places offered, a selection will be made based on the following criteria:
- Curriculum Vitae (60%)
- Personal interview (20%)
- Use of ICTs (20%)
Academic Management and Faculty
The program is directed by Dr. Jose Angel Zuniga and Dr. Belen Elisa Diaz, with a team of academic coordinators and faculty members from various fields.
Duration and Development
The program is offered in executive mode, with 600 on-site/synchronous hours, and a duration of 6 to 12 months.
Reservation of Place and Enrollment
The pre-registration period is from June 14, 2023, to February 15, 2024, and the enrollment deadline is from February 15 to 25, 2024. The title price is 5,000 euros, with the possibility of interest-free financing and a reserved place for vulnerable groups.
