Specialist in Administrative and Institutional Management

Presentation

This Specialization Diploma is valid for visas and stays for studies with automatic work authorization, in accordance with the new Immigration Regulations that came into force on May 20, 2025, approved by Royal Decree 1155/2024. It is aimed at professionals seeking to work as employees or self-employed workers in centers, offices, businesses, and administrative or commercial departments of any type of company or entity, whether private or public, across all productive sectors. It focuses on business creation and is specifically aimed at the Ibero-American population seeking to invest in Spain and seeking to understand the productive, cultural, and social environment in which they wish to integrate.


Programme

The programme consists of three modules:


  • Module I: Institutions, administrative services, accounting, customer relations, and public and private management (20 ECTS/200 Hrs)

Recipients

This MECES level 3 training program is aimed at students with a previous university degree. Those enrolled in a Bachelor's or Double Degree program who have yet to complete a maximum of 30 ECTS credits from an official Spanish university degree and whose profile matches the legally established functions in the corresponding field will be eligible for conditional admission.


In this case, no type of certification will be obtained until it is proven that one is in possession of the official university degree required for access to postgraduate education.


Exceptionally, applicants without a prior official university degree that demonstrates work experience in this field may also be eligible for these professional studies. In this case, applicants may only opt for a diploma or university extension certificate with the same name and number of credits as this degree, in accordance with the equivalence table included in Annex I of the Regulations for Specialized Studies at Rey Juan Carlos University.

  • Students with foreign qualifications must submit the following documentation:
    • Passport or Residence Card
    • Foreign Higher Education Degree (Graduate, Bachelor's Degree, Architect, Engineer, Doctor...) that gives access to continuing education studies.

    • Any other document required by the Academic Department of Continuing Education for acceptance
  • A university degree (bachelor's or bachelor's degree) is required to access both Master's and Expert and Specialist courses. However, on some occasions the possibility is considered for people without a previous university degree but who can demonstrate professional experience related to the subject of the course to access it.

This possibility must be included in the corresponding academic report and will be subject in all cases to the decision of the Course Director. People who access through this route will only receive a Diploma or a Certificate of University Extension depending on the case.
