Introduction to the Expert in Local Public Auditing and Compliance Management in Public Administration

The Expert in Local Public Auditing and Compliance Management in Public Administration is a university degree designed to analyze the development of internal control in Local Public Sector Entities, with a special emphasis on the new regulation of permanent financial control and auditing of Local Entities. This program is jointly organized by recognized institutions such as COSITAL and INNOVAETICA.

Objectives

The main objectives of this Expert Title are to:

• Provide students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to understand and analyze the development of internal control in Local Public Sector Entities, auditing, and compliance and confidentiality.
• Develop an operational audit model based on the principles and methodology set out by INTOSAI (International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions).
• Pay special attention to the impact of new technologies on the development of internal control in the Local Public Sector, through the application of big data and Artificial Intelligence.

  • M.9: Impact of the 2030 agenda

Access Requirements

To access this program, students must:

• Possess a previous university degree
• Students enrolled in a Bachelor's or Double Degree who have a maximum of 30 ECTS credits of an official university degree in Spain whose profile matches the functions legally provided for in the corresponding field will be able to access conditionally

Selection Criteria

In the event that the number of applications exceeds the number of places offered, the Management Team will make a selection based on the following objectively weighted criteria:

1. Academic record (Up to 3 points)
2. Work and/or professional experience (Up to 4 points)
3. Personal Interview: in person or teleconference (Up to 3 points)
