Course Overview
The Mindful Self-Care six-week programme is specifically designed for those working in high-intensity, time-pressured environments. It was developed in Adelaide in 2008 by Dr Maura Kenny, a psychiatrist and recognised Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy teacher-trainer with a special interest in workplace stress management.
About This Course
This course introduces the concepts and practices of mindfulness meditation and compassionate mind training with a particular emphasis on learning how to manage stress more effectively in work and home situations. Participants will engage with practices that enhance focus, steadiness, and self-compassion, helping them reconnect with what is most important in their work, supporting their personal wellbeing and contributing to a healthier, more sustainable workplace culture.
