Introduction to the International Incorporated Masters Accounting and Finance Program
The International Incorporated Masters Accounting and Finance program is designed to provide students with a competitive edge in their careers. Program Structure
The program consists of two stages: the Pre-Masters stage and the postgraduate degree stage. The Pre-Masters stage is offered at Bangor University International College, and upon successful completion, students will continue their studies at Bangor Business School.
15 Months IIM (One Term Pre-Masters)

Module Descriptions
The program includes a range of modules that provide students with a comprehensive understanding of accounting and finance. These modules include:
Auditing
This module considers the importance of monitoring a business's financial performance, both in terms of meeting regulatory requirements and providing information to executives and shareholders. The external auditing process is reviewed, including evidence production, compliance tests, and substantive tests.
Financial Accounting
The aim of this module is to provide an introduction to accounting in terms of theory and practice, covering the main applications of ICT to financial accounting. It provides students with an understanding of the technical aspects of the subject, including double-entry bookkeeping, calculation of key ratios, and the preparation and use of financial statements.
Finance, Investment & Banking
The main aim of this module is to provide students with an introduction to corporate finance, examining the concepts and principles underlying key financial decisions, risk and return, and the evaluation of projected capital investment.
Management Accounting
This module focuses on the techniques of management accounting used to collect, process, and present financial and quantitative data within an organisation to aid performance management, cost control, planning, and pricing.
