Course Overview
The main focus will be to introduce some of the basic concepts of R. No prior knowledge of programming is assumed.
Course Outline
- Introduction to R: A brief overview of the background and features of the R statistical programming system.
- Data Logging: Description of how to import and export data from R.
- Data types: Summary of R data types.
- R Environment: Description of the R environment including the R working directory, creating/using scripts, saving data and results.
- R Graphics: Create, edit and store graphics in R.
- Data manipulation in R: Describe how to manipulate data in R by using logical operators.
