University Program Overview

The UC Merced Extension Teacher Preparation Program is a comprehensive program that allows students to obtain a credential in one year through full-time study combined with fieldwork.


Program Tracks

The program offers two credential tracks:


  • Multiple Subject credential track
  • Single Subject credential track

Undergraduate Benefits

Students who complete the NSED minor as an undergraduate at UC Merced can save up to $5,400 off their tuition.


Program Structure
