Overview of UC Merced Furniture Program
The Office of Planning, Design, & Construction Management is the campus partner for planning and acquiring furniture. The University of California has a systemwide contract with Steelcase, Inc. for furniture manufacturing, which is distributed and installed by Tangram Interiors.

Sustainability Goals
Steelcase, Inc. furniture aligns with UC Merced's sustainability goals, being durable, long-lived, made from sustainable materials, and easily disassembled and recycled at the end of its life.
Design Services and Surplus Furniture
Design services are offered for space reconfiguration. The University also has an offsite facility with an inventory of surplus furniture available for use.
