Energy Explorers Camp Details

• Date: July 20-24, 2026
• Eligibility: Ages 8-11
• Capacity: 30 students
• Registration Fee: $425
• Camp Activities:
  • Visit various businesses to learn about careers and real-life uses of energy
  • Virtual field trip of a dam to explore sources of energy
  • Design a windmill prototype with moving blades using VEX Go
  • Explore alternative energy sources with a field trip to solar village and the green roof at Missouri S&T
  • Design a restraint system for a vehicle and test its effectiveness

Registration and Cancellation Policies

• Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis
• Waiting lists will be maintained and filled in the order that they were received should cancellations occur
• Cancellations must be made two weeks prior to the first day of the program to receive a refund
• A $50 non-refundable fee will be applied to all cancellations
