How You Will Learn

This course is available to study full-time or part-time, with classes taking place mainly in the evening. Some modules may also be offered online as well as on campus. Classes consist of lectures, complemented by practical classes focusing on problem-solving, and seminars where students discuss and exchange ideas.

Placement Route

The full-time Placement route gives students the opportunity to develop their accounting and economics skills in the workplace and apply learning from their degree in a professional setting, further increasing employability upon graduation. Please note that this option is not available for students who require a Student visa to study in the UK.

Foundation Year

For students who need extra support, the Foundation Year route is designed to provide an additional year (full-time) or two years (part-time) of supported study. This is ideal for those returning to study after a gap, who have not previously studied the relevant subjects, or who did not achieve the required grades for direct entry onto the undergraduate degree.

Entry Requirements

• The university welcomes applicants without traditional entry qualifications, basing decisions on its own assessment of qualifications, knowledge, and previous work experience.
• For part-time courses, standard requirements are a minimum of two A-levels or equivalent.
• UCAS Tariff Points:
  • 3 years full-time: 112 points (e.g., A-levels BBC)
  • 4 years full-time with Placement: 112 points (e.g., A-levels BBC)
  • 4 years full-time with Foundation Year: 48 points
• Foundation Year Degrees: Designed for those who need extra support, providing an additional year of study.

Fees

• Full-time Home Students: ｣9,790 per year for 3 years of study, and ｣1,955 per year for the placement year.
• Part-time Home Students: ｣7,335 per year.
• Part-time International Students: ｣13,875 per year.
• Full-time International Students: ｣18,500 per year.
